CEHRD supported 35 Ogoni farmers with improved and climate resilient varieties of seedlings Featured

 

The Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development (CEHRD) supported 35 Ogoni farmers from communities in Tai Local Government Areas, Rivers State with improved and climate resilient varieties of seedlings like cassava stems, plantain suckers, banana suckers, maize seeds and cucumber seeds.The seedlings were distributed to the farmers in Kporghor community. CEHRD will also extend this to selected farmers in Bayelsa state. This is with support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Abuja.
