Unveiling CEHRD’s Reports, Adrift Fortunes, and Communities’ Perceptions of Ogoni Clean-Up Project

The Norwegian Ambassador led other dignitaries in Abuja to unveil CEHRD’s reports, Adrift Fortunes, and Communities’ Perceptions of Ogoni Clean-up Project. The reports were published after extensive research by two teams from the environment and conservation and the other from the governance and human rights.

Every year, CEHRD conducts researches into issues affecting the environment, human rights and livelihoods of community stakeholders especially women and children living in communities in the Niger Delta regions and affected by activities of oil exploration by International Oil Companies in the region.

CEHRD uses the published research data for evidence-based advocacy and also community are empowered to seek solutions to their problems.
