The Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development (#cehrd) is committed to preserving biodiversity and species in global space. Achieving the goal, #cehrd again participated in the global City Nature Challenge held 29th April through 2nd May, 2022.
#cehrd recorded 385 observations at Iwofe as captured by the iNaturilist App and displayed in their website.
This is good for the environment as it forms baseline data in the region. With the observations, further research can be carried to ascertain the number of species in existence in the region or the the ones that have gone extinct due to various factors affecting the environment.
