CEHRD SENSITIZE PUPILS OF GOSHEN STRIDES GLOBAL SCHOOL ON GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

Continuing activities marking the 16 Days activism on Gender Based Violence on Thursday, December 8, 2022, the Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development, #CEHRD carried out sensitization to Goshen Strides Global school on the provisions of #riversstavapplaw.

The aim was to create awareness to pupils in primary education on the various Gender Based issues affecting them and how they can report these cases. It is no longer a new thing that children are been raped, abused or face physical and emotional violence in their environment. If they know what it is, how and who they can report to, it will be easier for these cases to be handled appropriately.
