On Friday, June 2, 2023, CEHRD had consultation meeting with fisher folks at the Kono waterfront to seek their buy-in on the project titled, “Strengthening Community Protection of the Kono Mangrove Conservation Area”, funded by Global Greengrant Fund- GGF. The project seeks to strengthen the conservation of mangroves in the Kono creeks especially the Nwenua conservation area, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State.
