Tree Planting in Honour of Patrick Naagbanton

On Thursday, 21 November 2019, we, friends and partners planted 49 trees across different locations in Bodo City, Gokana LGA, Rivers State. The trees signifies the 49 years Comrade Patrick B. Naagbanton, CEHRD’s founder lived on earth before his death. He was an iconic Human and Environmental Rights Defender.

Today, Friday 22 November 2019,there will be an evening of poems and tributes in his honor at Visa Karena Hotel, Port Harcourt by 3pm. He will be laid to rest tomorrow, Saturday 23 November 2019 at his compound, Bodo City.
