In continuation to ensure a holistic approach to the implementation of #riversstatevapplaw in fighting #GBV in Rivers State, #cehrd paid in August 5th, 2022 paid an advocacy visit to Rivers State Ministry of Women Affairs – RSMWA. Receiving #cehrd’s team led by Dr David Vareba, Head of Department, Human Rights and Governance, #cehrd, Barrister Uriri expressed joy for the work #cehrd is doing with the ministry.
It will be recalled that the ministry is part of the institutions trained on the provision of the #riversstatevapplaw in Port Harcourt Local Government Area. Since then, #cehrd and the ministry has partnered to handling #GBV cases. Dr David also thanked the ministry for their open hands in collaborating with #cehrd and other bodies fighting #GBV in Rivers State.
