The Centre for Environment Human Rights and Development CEHRD on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 organized the first meeting of the Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response Network in Tai Local Government Area. The meeting was to seek the challenges of the members of the network towards the implementation of #riversstatevapplaw in their respective jurisdiction.

The Tai meeting highlighted challenges they have faced so far and gained knowledge on how to handle such cases without compromise. The Prevention and Response Network is to see to it that #gbv cases in their area is reported to the appropriate quarters and also ensure the full implementation of the #riversstatevapplaw individually and must importantly corporately.
