Consultation meeting with the paramount ruler and council of chiefs of Kono waterfront

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, CEHRD had consultation meeting with the paramount ruler and council of chiefs of Kono waterfront to seek their buy-in on the project titled, “Strengthening Community Protection of the Kono Mangrove Conservation Area”, funded by Global Greengrant Fund- GGF.The paramount ruler, Chief Monday Nwige was represented by the secretary, Engr. Adolphus Tam Jacob. The project seeks to strengthen the conservation of mangroves in the Kono creeks especially the Nwenua conservation area, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State.
