With pleasure and gratitude, CEHRD hosted the Norwegian Ambassador, His Excellency Jens-Petter Kjemprud and his deputy, Her Excellency Ingrid Skjolaas yesterday at the CEHRD’s Ken Saro-Wiwa Hall of Fame. It was a unique and rare opportunity to discuss topical environmental and human rights challenges in the Niger Delta region and CEHRD’s ongoing development efforts.
CEHRD organized a Roundtable Dialogue for Civil Society Organizations and Community Leaders on an Environmental, Health, Human Rights and Gender Baseline on Ogoni Cleanup Dissemination Meeting with support from CORDAID.
CEHRD participated in a Diplomatic Session and briefed foreign delegates in Nigeria on the finding of the Integrated Environmental, Health, Human Rights and Gender Baseline Report on Ogoniland Clean-up. The session was hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Abuja.
